Cancellation Policy

Your right to cancel or change a booking depends on the fare rules and supplier terms attached to it. This page explains how cancellations are handled at TSB Travels.

Last updated: 23 August 2026

1. How to Cancel

Cancellation requests must be sent to TSB Travels by email or made by phone with our team. A cancellation is effective only once we have confirmed it to you in writing with a cancellation reference. Requests made through any other channel, or left on voicemail, are not considered received.

Your booking must be cancelled before the scheduled departure or check-in time, otherwise you risk losing the full value of the booking.

2. Flight Cancellations

  • Every ticket is subject to the airline's fare rules; many discounted fares are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Where cancellation is permitted, the airline penalty plus the TSB Travels service fee are deducted from any amount returned.
  • Some airlines allow free cancellation within 24 hours of issue; this depends entirely on the airline and the departure date.
  • Two one-way tickets booked together remain separate contracts — cancelling one does not entitle you to cancel the other free of charge.
  • Tickets must be used in the sequence issued; skipping a segment can cause the airline to cancel the remainder without refund.

3. Hotel Cancellations

Each hotel rate carries its own cancellation deadline, shown on your confirmation. Free cancellation rates can normally be cancelled up to the stated deadline without penalty. After that deadline, and for advance-purchase or non-refundable rates, the hotel may charge up to the full value of the stay.

4. Holiday Package Cancellations

Packages combine several suppliers, each with its own rules. As a general guide, and subject to the specific terms on your confirmation:

  • More than 45 days before departure — deposit and service fees are forfeited.
  • 45 to 30 days before departure — a substantial part of the package price may be retained.
  • Less than 30 days before departure, or no-show — the package is normally non-refundable.
  • Air tickets, visa fees, insurance and confirmed event tickets inside a package follow their own supplier rules regardless of the above.

5. Changes and Rebooking

Where a change is permitted, you pay the supplier's change fee, any difference in fare or rate, and the TSB Travels change handling fee. Name changes are generally not permitted; correcting a name usually requires cancelling and rebooking at the then-current price.

6. Cancellation by the Airline, Hotel or Operator

If a supplier cancels your service, we will inform you as soon as we are notified and help you choose between an alternative arrangement and a refund of the amount recoverable from that supplier. We are not liable for supplier cancellations or for consequential costs such as separately booked transport or accommodation.

7. Cancellation by TSB Travels

We may cancel a booking if payment is not received in full by the stated deadline, if a payment is reversed, or if the booking was made fraudulently or in breach of our Terms & Conditions.

8. Refund of Cancelled Bookings

Any money due back after a cancellation is handled under our Refund Policy, including eligibility, deductions and processing timelines.
